Glink for Java live demos

The two first modes are demonstrated here. When starting Glink or the Glink administration program you will by default be prompted for a user name and password. For the demonstration there are two user names: 'demo' and 'admin', with passwords 'demo' and 'admin' respectively. The 'demo' user is limited to the basic emulation functions and pre-set configurations, while the 'admin' user can personalize his/her configurations, run scripts and edit the global configuration with the administration program.

Start Glink using Java Web start

• Glink logon - log in and select the host connection from the menu available.
• Admin logon - log in and run the Glink administration program.
• TP8 test application - connect directly to G&R's TP8 test application using Glink?s DKU7105 emulation; user name, password and application are preconfigured.
• LUIS - connect directly to University of Florida (3270 emulation)
• Glink Desktop Manager - run the Glink Desktop Manager that lets you start and organize multiple Glink instances within the same window using a tabbed pane.

Start Glink as a Java applet

• Glink logon - log in and select the host connection from the menu available.
• Admin logon - log in and run the Glink administration program. If you are testing on the G&R demonstration system the Admin program can only be used for examining the configuration and familiarizing yourself with the user interface. You cannot save your changes for testing. If you are testing on your own system after installation, then the changes can be saved and tested.
• TP8 test application - connect directly to G&R's TP8 test application using Glink's DKU7105 emulation; user name, password and application are preconfigured.
• LUIS - connect directly to University of Florida (3270 emulation) .
• Glink Desktop Manager - run the Glink Desktop Manager that lets you start and organize multiple Glink instances within the same window using a tabbed pane.
