Known Errors
These are the known errors in our products, logged as reported with versions and platforms affected as well as corrections and work-arounds.
This list is largely historical, since it records all problems that have been reported throughout G&R history. Only the most recently reported problems still exist, unless you are using a very old copy of the product, in which case you should update the product to the most recent version.

The application mailbox (-da) is normally required for a connect, and because the error messages issued by different GCOS hosts when the mailbox is missing (blank) could be difficult to understand, none-exsistent or simply cause a connect time-out, the line module pre-checked that a mailbox name was present before attempting a connect. GCOS7 has a possibility for defining the application mailbox under the project. To engage this functionality the connect must have a blank mailbox. To allow this functionality to be used the -da parameter for Gline has been extended to allow a mailbox name GCOS7DEF, which is mapped to a blank mailbox for the connect.
