Known Errors

These are the known errors in our products, logged as reported with versions and platforms affected as well as corrections and work-arounds.

This list is largely historical, since it records all problems that have been reported throughout G&R history. Only the most recently reported problems still exist, unless you are using a very old copy of the product, in which case you should update the product to the most recent version.

E0155: Pthru may give 'Invalid command' after shell escape

Product: Host Links 4.0, Pthru
Platform: Any
Status: Closed, fixed in 4.0.2 and 4.1.0
Last updated: 1996-10-10 16:59:50

A user is running Pthru from a PC with Glink. After a shell-escape using
$*$e or $*$! or after return from the context manager, then Glink displays
the message 'Invalid command' in the lower left corner. After this happens
the display of forms and attributes is also incorrect, forcing the user to
quit and restart Pthru.

The problem is also fixed by upgrading to Glink release 5.4.3 or later.
