Known Errors

These are the known errors in our products, logged as reported with versions and platforms affected as well as corrections and work-arounds.

This list is largely historical, since it records all problems that have been reported throughout G&R history. Only the most recently reported problems still exist, unless you are using a very old copy of the product, in which case you should update the product to the most recent version.

E0525: Gline, gl_tcp crash in TN3270 mode

Product: Gline, gl_tcp
Platform: All
Status: Fixed in 5.2.1
Last updated: 1999-05-20 15:00:09

If a Gline application, driving the gl_tcp line
module in TN3270 mode, received a Telnet AO (abort
output) command, the line module could crash.

This problem is most likely experienced when Gspool
is used to receive TN3270 print data where the AO
sequence is used to signal 'end of print bracket'.

The external symptom was a '$$GLAPI Gline connection
broken..' error message in the Gspool log or debug file.
