Known Errors

These are the known errors in our products, logged as reported with versions and platforms affected as well as corrections and work-arounds.

This list is largely historical, since it records all problems that have been reported throughout G&R history. Only the most recently reported problems still exist, unless you are using a very old copy of the product, in which case you should update the product to the most recent version.

E0530: Glink, saving long TX-RET commands with line break

Product: Glink/Windows
Platform: all
Status: Fixed for 6.1.5 and 6.2
Last updated: 1999-06-05 12:37:31

When Glink saved data in the command recall buffer (TX-EDIT mode),
lines longer than the current screen width were saved with line
breaks to preserve these for when the data was recalled. This is
appropriate behaviour for TEXT mode, but not for TX-RET mode,
where such commands should be treated as a single string. This
is normally only a problem if you recall such data after you've
changed the screen width to something different to the width at
which the data was saved.

Workaround: manually edit the data.
