Known Errors

These are the known errors in our products, logged as reported with versions and platforms affected as well as corrections and work-arounds.

This list is largely historical, since it records all problems that have been reported throughout G&R history. Only the most recently reported problems still exist, unless you are using a very old copy of the product, in which case you should update the product to the most recent version.

E0630: Multi-line input fields in Gweb length error

Product: Gweb 5.3
Platform: All
Status: Fixed, correction available
Last updated: 2000-07-12 11:48:29

With Gweb's automatic facelifting, a field which length is longer than the
rest of the current line should automatically countinue on the next line
of the screen, exactly as the real terminal would do.

An error was introduced in the 5.3 version of Gweb. Instead of splitting
the long field into several smaller subfields, Gweb created the correct
number of subfields as required but each of the with the total length of
the field, and without the HTML coding that identified them as subfields.

Avoidance procedure: Any data in the last (not the first) of these long
"sub"-fields will be transmitted to the host.
