Known Errors

These are the known errors in our products, logged as reported with versions and platforms affected as well as corrections and work-arounds.

This list is largely historical, since it records all problems that have been reported throughout G&R history. Only the most recently reported problems still exist, unless you are using a very old copy of the product, in which case you should update the product to the most recent version.

E0633: Host Links emulations crash on segmented forms

Product: Host Links 5.3.0 all emulations (including Gweb)
Platform: All
Status: Fixed for 5.3.1
Last updated: 2000-07-18 17:05:44

If the host sends segmented forms then in some circumstances the emulations
may crash with a "segmentation fault". This problem is most likely to occur
on telnet protocols (including TNVIP) where the data packets may be split
due to the underlying TCP network. This only happens if the split occurs in
the midddle of an emulation escape sequence. This problem will not occur on
a Ggate connection.

GlAPI applications using the line_unget() function may also be hit by this
