Known Errors

These are the known errors in our products, logged as reported with versions and platforms affected as well as corrections and work-arounds.

This list is largely historical, since it records all problems that have been reported throughout G&R history. Only the most recently reported problems still exist, unless you are using a very old copy of the product, in which case you should update the product to the most recent version.

E0908: CRLF problems with the Gweb facelifting index file

Product: Gweb, any
Platform: Windows
Status: Fixed in 6.1, fix available
Last updated: 2003-08-29 16:18:44

The Gweb facelifting file "index.cfg" is a text file that contains
information about how the host screens are facelifted.

This file is a normal text file, using the normal line termination
characters (Line Feed on Unix systems, and Carriage Return + Line Feed on
Windows).

If a "index.cfg" facelifting file was designed on Unix but copied to a
Windows system, Gweb could not always read the file properly due to the
unexpected line termination method.

This can be avoided by making sure the file is saved using the line
termination characters native to the system you're working with.
