In this release we have added support for our new GlinkProxy Session Persistence Server. GlinkProxy is designed to provide persistent host connections for Glink clients where the connection from the client device is unreliable. This may be because the device enters sleep mode or goes out of Wi-Fi range. There are also other minor corrections and improvements in this version.

Due to an iOS compatibility issue on some iPhone and iPad models with iOS version 14.2 and 14.3, the Glink for iOS apps are not able to start if managed by mobile device management software (MDM). However, if you run Glink, Glink 5250, Glink 3270 or Glink VT for iOS after a normal download from Apple’s App Store, Glink works fine.

There are also other minor corrections and improvements in this version.

In this release we have added support for managed app configuration, made it easier to export and import configurations, added support for Zebra scanner devices through the Zebra DataWedge interface and added more options for customization.

In this release it is possible to configure double tap to toggle the display of the Action bar to give more space to the emulation and we have extended the possibility to customize the toolbar layout. The width and height of the toolbar buttons can now be configured and selected buttons can be given double width.
