Glink Professional & Enterprise Editions, update 8.1.2 is available

The release has an improved installation package to ease migration from pre-R8.1.0 releases, but is primarily a maintenance release that corrects errors detected in the original 8.1.0 release.

Glink Professional and Enterprise Editions, update 8.1.2 is now available. This is a production update to the Vista-compatible Editions of Glink, and has an improved installation procedure for users migrating from pre-R8.1 releases. As previously announced, all Glink installations from R8.1 onwards must use the Microsoft Windows Installer package in order to obtain certification for Windows Vista. This involves changing the location of Glink installation and configuration directories.

Your local distributor can download the update for installation on production sites. This update is available free of charge to customers with a service contract for Glink Professional or Enterprise Edition. Customers with a service contract for Glink Standard Edition can upgrade at a special discount. Customers with no service contract must purchase a license upgrade.
