- ABOUT G&R
Gallagher & Robertson develop packages for terminal emulation, both packages for use on workstations, and for use on servers accessed by browsers to web-enable legacy applications. We also develop network printer emulations, terminal concentrators, network gateways and APIs to connect terminals, emulators or user applications on Open Systems platforms to legacy networks and applications. We are particularly experienced in communications from Open Systems to the Bull and IBM environments.
Glink for Windows is a terminal emulator. It emulates Bull VIP7700, VIP7760, VIP7800, VIP8800, Questar DKU7107, DKU7211, DKU7102; IBM 3270, IBM 5250, VT220, Minitel and Prestel. Glink has APIs for DDE, UVTI, HLLAPI, OLE Automation and is also a COM+ and .NET Object.
Glink for iPad/iPhone/iPod is a fast, efficient and highly functional terminal emulator for connecting Apple’s iPad, iPhone and iPod touch devices to legacy business applications running on Bull, IBM, UNIX and Linux host systems.
Glink for Android is a fast, efficient and highly functional terminal emulator for connecting tablets and smartphones with Android operating systems to legacy business applications running on Bull, IBM, UNIX and Linux host systems.
Glink for Java is a 100% Pure Java port of Glink for Windows. It runs as an applet or as a desktop Java application on any Java platform. It can run as a server, with an OHIO based API allowing e-commerce applications written in Java, or implemented as Enterprise Java Beans in a J2EE architecture, to connect to hosts.
GlinkWeb is a server-side version of Glink, and like Glink it is available in Windows and Java versions. It combines a browser front-end with the Glink terminal emulation engines to connect browser users to legacy applications. Browser users see the screens in their browser window, giving them 'terminal like' access to the legacy applications.
Gweb web-enables mainframe applications by connecting browsers in Bull or IBM terminal modes.
Ggate is a gateway to Bull GCOS systems from Windows, Linux and most other UNIX servers to Bull DSA. It supports DSA connections over OSI transport and RFC1006 transport running over TCP/IP. Ggate supports Glink and other G&R clients using Ggate protocol over TCP/IP, but also third party clients connecting by TNVIP or Telnet.
Host Links is a set of products that complement the G&R range, including network printer emulation, network monitoring and load-balancing and file transfer.
Gmail provides inexpensive and powerful e-mail facilities to users on all G&R supported platforms.
Windows, Java, Linux and most other UNIX platforms.
GlinkWeb is an extension to the Glink product family that gives web users access to mainframe applications from their browsers, without the need for additional software on the client workstation.Read more
