Supported platforms
Glink Enterprise and Professional Editions are developed and released in parallel. The latest release runs on all Windows releases supported by Microsoft on both 32-bit and 64-bit platforms.
As Microsoft releases new versions of Windows, new updates or releases of Glink Enterprise and Professional Edition will be qualified for the new Windows platforms.

- Glink for Windows, Enterprise Edition is the server side version of Glink, licensed by number of simultaneous sessions.
- Glink for Windows, Professional Edition is the workstation version of Glink, licensed by number of seats.
- Glink for Windows, Standard Edition is in maintenance status, and will not be updated for qualification with Windows XP or newer versions of Windows.
- Glink for Macintosh is discontinued, and has been replaced in the G&R product range by Glink for Java™.
- Glink for DOS is in maintenance status, and although we update it as far as possible for our existing users with service agreements we do not add new functionality.
Microsoft releases new versions of Windows regularly. New versions of Windows can, and have, caused legitimate Windows programs, used in production environments, to fail. These programs must be updated in order to overcome whatever incompatibility Microsoft has introduced before they will work with the new release. This applies to Microsoft's own programs as well as to those from other suppliers.
Glink Enterprise and Professional Editions are the current development platform. They are released in parallel. Each release is qualified against all Windows platforms supported by Microsoft at the time of release.
Glink Professional and Enterprise Editions were introduced to handle Windows XP and later releases that require a native 32/64 bit architecture
